In the 16th match of IPL 2025, played at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants won against Mumbai Indians. LSG Batting first, Lucknow scored 203 runs. Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh gave a good start, with Marsh hitting 60 runs from 31 balls. Later, Ayush Badoni scored 30 and David Miller added 27 runs to take the team past 200. For Mumbai, captain Hardik Pandya bowled well and took 5 wickets.

While chasing 204, Mumbai lost early wickets. Will Jacks and Ryan Rickelton get out quickly? Naman Dhir scored 46 runs, and Suryakumar Yadav scored 67 runs, keeping Mumbai in the game. In the end, Mumbai needed 40 runs from the last 3 overs. Hardik Pandya tried his best and remained not out on 28 runs, but the team fell short to win the game. Lucknow’s bowlers kept things tight in the final overs and helped their team win the match.
