"Not many know this. USA captain Monank Patel and I were invited to his hotel room at Taj Bengal on the eve of an ODI against Sri Lanka in December 2009. It was astonishing to see that he had set up a temporary mandir on the table next to his bed, with his Adidas match bat placed against it. It was a powerful visual. Even God prays." Patel wrote on X.
