"I'd come here while drinking water from the tap," he says in the clip, recalling how he would often arrive at around 3 or 4 in the morning to offer prayers before matches or overseas tours. There was this feeling and belief that this water energised me. It has some power to help me achieve my dream. While drinking water, I will always pray to the idol," Sachin said. An unheard story from Sachin Tendulkar’s hotel room

Sachin Tendulkar’s viral clip from an old interview in which journalist Graham Bensinger and the Indian legend were seen walking around the temple, wearing blue shirts and glasses. Sachin mentioned that praying at the temple was a significant part of his daily routine at the start of his cricket career, and that he kept doing it for a long time, until his last match. He added that he liked to come during early morning when there were few people around.

Quoting a viral clip of Sachin Tendulkar on social media platform X, in which the legendary batter spoke about his spiritual beliefs, USA-based journalist Smit Patel shared an interesting anecdote. Patel revealed that he once visited Tendulkar’s hotel room along with USA team captain Monank Patel, where he noticed a small temple-like arrangement of Adidas match bats kept with great care, highlighting the cricket icon’s deep spiritual belief.

"Not many know this. USA captain Monank Patel and I were invited to his hotel room at Taj Bengal on the eve of an ODI against Sri Lanka in December 2009. It was astonishing to see that he had set up a temporary mandir on the table next to his bed, with his Adidas match bat placed against it. It was a powerful visual. Even God prays." Patel wrote on X.
