Darwish Rasool scored 26, while Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi added late runs to take Afghanistan to 159.

Nitish Kumar Reddy was the standout bowler for India, taking three wickets after replacing Hardik Pandya. Arshdeep Singh also impressed with two wickets. India then started the chase strongly, with Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson attacking the Afghan bowlers from the beginning.

Abhishek scored 39 runs off 19 balls, including four sixes, while Samson produced a brilliant 57 off just 22 balls.
