During the RR vs MI IPL 2026 match in Guwahati, RR opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi welcomed MI star Jasprit Bumrah with a sixer.

The 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is writing new stories every day, as cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see his fearless batting in every game. In the recent IPL 2026 match, Vaibhav even smashed six to Jasprit Bumrah, one of the best bowlers in the present cricket world, while some even call him the best ever. The teenager has shared his experience after his successful outing against MI, where he faced Bumrah and Trent Boult.
It was an 11-over game between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at Guwahati on Tuesday night, where MI captain Hardik Pandya chose to field first. After Yashasvi Jaiswal provided a strong start with 22 runs in the first over of the match, which Deepak Chahar delivered, Vaibhav welcomed Jasprit Bumrah with a sixer. He scored 13 runs in that over, including two sixes.
Talking about his experience, Vaibhav clarified that he was focusing on the ball rather than thinking about the bowler. The teenager said in the recently published video by Rajasthan Royals, "It didn't feel like much, sir; I was just trying to focus on the ball rather than the bowler. I was a bit nervous because such a big bowler was in front of me but I tried to back my own game and play the ball instead of looking at the name."
