Varun Chakaravarthy Replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal in Champions Trophy for India, Know Why?

This is a surprising move from India to make a important key change to its squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy. Varun Chakaravarthy has been taken in to team in replace of young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal in the final team selection.

Chakaravarthy had a fantastic series against England in T20I, where he took 14 wickets and Player of the Series . The selectors were impressed with his ability to spin and trap batsmen with his variations , which made him a player in the tournament.

However, it does come, as a surprise to many, considering his past performances in the recent tournaments.
