Cricket is more than just a sport in India, and many young players dream of making a name for themselves in the game. Vinod Kambli was once regarded as one of India's most talented young cricketers. His life and career have seen many highs and lows, and now his story is set to be shown in an upcoming web series.

Director Abhijit Deshpande is reportedly working on a web series based on Vinod Kambli's life. The series is titled Kambli and is expected to be released on the OTT platform ZEE5. Deshpande reportedly started working on the project in 2019, and Kambli's eventful life has provided the story for the upcoming series.

Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar were childhood friends and trained together under legendary coach Ramakant Achrekar. Both were once considered among India's brightest young batting talents. While Tendulkar went on to become one of the greatest batters in cricket history, Kambli's career took a different path despite his impressive talent.

Kambli's life has included several challenges, including personal struggles and setbacks. The upcoming series is expected to explore both the well-known and lesser-known parts of his journey. Throughout this article, we will share complete details about the Vinod Kambli web series, including who will play the cricket legend, the cast, the OTT platform, the release date and other important details.

Vinod Kambli web series cast: Is the lead actor finalised yet?

Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar made history with their unbeaten 664-run partnership against St. Xavier's School in the Harris Shield in 1988. Kambli's journey under the guidance of legendary coach Ramakant Achrekar and his later attempt at acting are also expected to be shown in the web series. After his cricket career, Kambli tried his luck in films and appeared with Sanjay Dutt in the 2000 Bollywood film Anarth.

The lead actor for the Vinod Kambli web series has not been finalised yet. According to reports, the makers are looking for an actor who closely resembles Kambli and can portray his character naturally. They are reportedly focusing more on authenticity and physical resemblance than choosing a popular star.
