The match in Vadodara was a bit difficult for Kuldeep Yadav, mainly because of clumsy fielding efforts. He put down a routine catch and looked lazy while collecting the ball. Yadav's loss efforts annoyed two senior cricketers, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. A video showed how Kohli and Sharma were giving Yadav death stares. According to the video, Yadav, standing near the non-striker's end stump, did not even try to grab the ball, which was thrown near the boundary line.
The fielder was none other than Virat Kohli. Kohli, with anger, was looking straight towards Kuldeep. The ball went between the bowler and the batter and went to Sharma, who collected the ball with precision. After picking up the ball, Sharma, the former India captain, used some words with Yadav. Needless to say, those words might have hit the bowler hard. Shubman Gill, the team India captain, won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first.
