Punjab Kings' star bowler Arshdeep Singh has turned 27 in February, and the talks about his marriage have already started. Speaking of the same, he revealed that he has asked for some time from his parents and just wants to focus on cricket. Arshdeep, who was bought by PBKS for INR 18 crores, is one of the best players in the country and has performed well in the recent T20 World Cup 2026 as well.
PBKS franchise didn't retain him but used the RTM card to bring him back into the team. The 27-year-old bowler is a regular in the T20I squad and has a good domestic record as well. He has expressed his feelings about getting married during an interaction on TV9 Satta Sammelan. Arshdeep is currently with the PBKS in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 and is expected to play well.
"My family has given me freedom for 3-4 years atleast. If I continue playing good cricket hopefully I can buy more time. I have also told them that until you want to see happiness in my face, till then please don't talk about marriage. Now if we look at Axar bhai, we have to make him smile. Usually we already have a smile on our faces and we have bring smile on his face after his marriage," said Arshdeep Singh.

PBKS played in the IPL 2025 final but lost against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). However, they qualified for the finals after a decade and the whole credit goes to Shreyas Iyer for handling the team really well in the tournament. The rest of the players contributed well throughout the league as well.
