India’s left-arm pacer, Arshdeep Singh, hasn’t done much to show his skills in the field for the last few months during the Test series and this ongoing Asia Cup 2025 as the national side opted to go with Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah as the two frontline pacers. However, off the field, he has done enough to become the fan-favorite.

Whether it’s in the social media game or being honest and brutal, the Punjab-born has done a great job in the platform. And now at the end of the Super 4 fixture of the event between India and Pakistan, he has added another moment to the list against the opponent pacer, Haris Rauf, who insulted India with 6-0 remark.

A video has gone viral from the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where after the end of the game, Arshdeep has been seen gesturing towards the crowd, making an airplane with his hands and crashing it into the bottom. Fans have used it as a befitting reply to the pacer Rauf, who repeatedly taunted the Indian crowd with a plane crash.

During the India vs Pakistan clash of the Super 4 clash, Rauf was standing at the boundary when the crowd started to chant Kohli, Kohli before the pacer turned back to the spectators and used his hands to give gesture of plan crashes which was a sign of the Pahalgam Terror attack from earlier this year.

It was Pakistan’s baseless claims that they downed the Indian fighter jets during the four-day border conflict after the Operation Sindhoor in May. Even their opening batter, Sahibzada Farhan, also celebrated his fifty in a controversial way by gun shots towards the crowd.

In the field, India was excellent as they continued their dominance over the opposition with a huge victory. Thanks to Abhishek Sharma’s aggressive knock with support from Shubman Gill, they were able to chase down the target of 172 runs easily in Dubai and find themselves at a strong position of qualifying to the final of the competition.
