[WATCH] 'Ball leke aa...'- Shubman Gill's firing words at Shaheen Afridi after hitting boundary during IND vs PAK Super 4 clash
Watch the video where the right-handed opening batter of the Indian side, Shubman Gill, had a few firing words at the left-arm pacer of Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi, after hitting a boundary in the Super 4 clash of Asia Cup 2025.

When Pakistan crossed the 170-run mark in the first innings, many expected India to be under a little pressure during the chase, but that was only a delusion. Abhishek Sharma pulled the short ball from Shaheen Afridi for six over the wicket-keeper’s head to take them to a flying start.
India's Shubman Gill cracked two successive boundaries against Saim Ayub on the fourth and fifth delivery of the second over before Gill went forward and lofted the slow delivery over the mid-off region for a boundary. But there was an incident on the last ball of the over when Gill had a few words with Shaheen Afridi.

Abhishek Sharma lobbed the slower ball from Abrar Ahmed for a six over the mid-wicket region before finding the gap in the same region for a successive boundary. He became the fastest to reach 50 sixes in the shortest format in terms of balls. His fifty-over boundaries in T20Is came in 331 balls, which is 35 fewer than Evin Lewis at the second rank.
They soon celebrated their century run stand for the opening wicket as Abrar, who didn’t concede a single boundary in the first 70 balls across the first three group-stage games, went for three boundaries off his first eight balls in the evening.
Abhishek recorded his individual half-century in the clash as India found themselves 105/0 in 9.4 overs. The southpaw nailed 57 runs in 31 balls at a strike rate of 183.87 with the help of four boundaries and four sixes, while Gill cracked 47 runs in 27 balls at a strike rate of 174.07.
