Beau Webster smashes 105-meter six

Fresh from his Ashes 2025/26 series victory, Beau Webster turns up for the Hobart Hurricanes against the Brisbane Heat at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. In the chase of 161 runs, the home side’s opening batter, Tim Ward, went back to the dressing room in the opening over before Webster showed his muscle against Xavier Bartlett on the second ball of the second over of the chase.

During the BBL 2025/26game, Webster came down the track and made room outside the before pulling the back of the length delivery over the wide long on as it sailed over the roof for a massive 105m massive six, which forced the umpire to bring a replacement delivery. Two months later, the right-handed batter flicked away the low full-toss into the deep square leg region for a boundary.

He celebrated a decent score of 51 runs in 43 balls with the help of five boundaries and one six at a strike rate of 118.6. That was an important shot from the Tasmania batter to break the shackles as the pressure started to mount over the Hurricanes, with the runs not coming.

However, their middle order could not contribute at all, which saw the Brisbane Heat earn a victory by three runs to make their way to the fourth position of the points table.
