[WATCH] 'Become like Rohit...'- Suryakumar Yadav forgets team changes during IND vs OMAN Asia Cup 2025 contest
Watch the video where the T20I captain of the Indian side, Suryakumar Yadav, has forgot the team changes during the clash between India and Oman from the 2025 season of the Asia Cup.

India locked horns with Oman in the last group-stage encounter of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It was nearly a practice game for the Blue Brigade, who had already qualified for the Super 4 stage of the event, thanks to their first two victories against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India, under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, won the toss and decided to bat first, given that they hadn’t batted for the full 20 overs in this competition, as the match practice will be vital for the players ahead of their Super 4 clash two days later. But Sky forgets the second team, along with the inclusion of Harshit Rana, to whom he compared him with Rohit Sharma.
“We want to continue the good habits we are doing in the first two games, and want to continue to do that. It is looking nice, and our openers will assess it further. We have two changes - Harshit comes in, one more guy comes in, I have become like Rohit.” Sky joked at the toss.

Later, the team sheet revealed that, along with Rana, Arshdeep Singh, the left-arm pacer, came into the eleven, as the management decided to give Varun Chakravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah a couple of days off ahead of their first encounter of the Super 4 stage against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 21.
“We are looking to bat first. We have not batted first in this competition, and we want to know our depth. Having game time is important going into the Super 4s.” The Mumbai-born informed as Sanju Samson, has been slotted to bat at number three in the playing eleven of the Blue Brigade.
Rohit Sharma is known for such habits, where he tends to forget a lot. During his time of three-format captaincy, Rohit used to forget the names of the players in the side regularly, along with many such issues, along with the Indian Premier League (IPL) days.
