England continues their dominance on the field from the beginning of the summer. After a comfortable win against Zimbabwe in a one-off Test match, the home team is now rolling well in limited-overs format like a well-oiled machine.

The team under Harry Brook's leadership in white ball showed some extraordinary efforts with the bat and in the fielding. Brydon Carse pulled out a sublime one-handed catch just a few inches from the boundary rope to dismiss West Indies skipper Shai Hope, who was looking well settled in Edgbaston's 22-yard. This catch by Carse now is labeled as one of the best fielding efforts by an England player in ODIs.

Batting first, England put a massive total of 400 on the scoreboard. Jacob Bethell's individual 82 off 53 was the best individual score of the game. Along with the swashbuckling innings, the first seven batters of the England batting lineup got 30-plus individual runs, including 4 half-centuries in total.

The way Hope dismissed

Jayden Seales' 4-wicket haul was the best bowling effort from the visiting side. Throughout the match, both teams showcased some brilliant efforts in fielding with 3 stunning catches, while the catch from Brydon Carse was the best of the day.

Shai Hope tried to smash Saqib Mahmood over the deep square leg region for a maximum, but Carse was there, stretching his body to take a one-handed catch just inside the rope. West Indies batters tried to match the level of England,, but it was too much for them to chase down. Despite some promising shots, West Indies bundled only 162 in 26.2 overs, and England won the match by 238 runs.
