[WATCH] ‘Bumrah out hai…’- Suryakumar Yadav's funny stump mic conversation with umpire leaked during IND vs BAN Super 4 clash
Watch the hilarious conversation between the Indian T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, and the on-field umpire where they dissect the ball track of Jasprit Bumrah's appeal during the Super 4 clash between India and Bangladesh from the Asia Cup 2025.

Under Suryakumar Yadav’s leadership, India locked horns with Bangladesh for their second Super 4 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It was not a sweet batting performance from the Blue Brigade in this clash as they struggled their way to 168 after Abhishek Sharma smashed 75 runs to lay down a strong platform in the first half of the inning.
It was the second ball of the fourth over from Jasprit Bumrah in the second innings. The right-arm pacer went for an in-swinging yorker to Parvez Hossain Emon, who took it as a full toss on his pas. The bowler appealed hard to convince the captain, Suryakumar Yadav, to go for the review to the third umpire.

Suryakumar walked up to the umpire and discussed the review as the audio was leaked on the stump microphone. ‘If the impact is in line, then I think. Oye, Bumrah out, hey bhai. What if in an umpire’s call? If no ball tracking, then the review is retained or what?” Sky’s hilarious interaction with the on-field umpire on the stump mic went viral.

However, the ball tracking showed that it was going down leg, and the impact was on the umpire’s call before it would have hit the leg stump. Given that the on-field umpire didn’t rule the batter out, Emon survived while India was able to keep their review with them. It didn’t matter much as the left-handed batter was dismissed for 21 runs in the seventh over.
Bumrah was under pressure from the start of the game, having been nailed for runs around the park against Pakistan. However, he made a strong comeback against Bangladesh with a wicket on the second ball of his spell of Tanzid Tamim and ended with figures of 2/18 in four overs.
India was able to collect the victory by 41 runs as the Bangladesh side was bundled out for 127 in 19.3 overs. The Blue Brigade qualifies for the final of the Asia Cup 2025, which is scheduled to take place on September 28 in Dubai, against the winner of the game between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
