Watch the video where the fans of different age groups were seen to be standing long queues to see their beloved Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ahead of the opening ODI between India and South Africa in Ranchi.

The opening ODI between India and South Africa of the three-match series, starting on November 30 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, will see the two veterans of the game- Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returning to the 50-over format in India for the very first time since they announced their Test retirement during the IPL 2025.
The fans stood in a long queue for the tickets four days before the game to earn tickets to see their superheroes in the middle. It will be the back of the two right-handed batters in the ODI format at home since the series against England at the start of the year, ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025.
“We have been standing in the queue since 7 in the morning, and the line is moving forward very slowly. But we understand the situation due to the game coming back to the city after such a long time. We are here only to see Virat Kohli live on the ground. Not sure when we will get the chance to touch the ticket in hand. We are really overwhelmed.” One of the fans expressed in a video.

Rohit smashed a fine century during the previous 50-over game against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground, while Kohli remained unbeaten on a half-century in the same clash as they took the Blue Brigade over the line in the chase.
“I am standing here from eight in the morning.” “We are standing here for the tickets from 10 last night, but we are happy to do that to see our two batters- Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. I came here in the morning. First, I thought of coming with some food, but because I can’t tolerate the cold, I had to come without it.” Another group of fans addressed.
“I discussed with a few of the fans here, and they also said that they came from different places, far away from the city. But the wish is constant, and that’s to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the one-day game at the ground.” Fans claimed in the same video.
