[WATCH] Football Skills Was Shown By Mohammad Rizwan and Usama Mir To Save Boundary

In a recent PSL 2024 match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United, teammates Mohammad Rizwan and Usama Mir showcased their football skills to prevent a boundary. It all happened in the 11th over of Islamabad’s innings when Jordan Cox hit a high shot towards the fine-leg boundary. Despite an initial fumble by the fielder, Rizwan dashed from his wicket-keeping position and kicked the ball away. Mir then swiftly moved in from the third-man region and used his footwork to stop the ball, saving two crucial runs for Multan Sultans.

After the win he also added, “ The way we started in the chase, we thought it would be a tough chase, but we had wickets in hand. We have good balance in our squad. Our batters are in good form as well. Almost all the batters got runs thus far and that is always a good sign moving forward. I don’t really focus too much on strengths and weaknesses, would like to treat it as one game at a time.”

Multan Sultans, who finished as runners-up in the last two PSL seasons, have started this season strongly with wins against Karachi Kings and Islamabad United. Their next match against Lahore Qalandars, scheduled for February 21, promises to be an exciting showdown, given the history between the two teams in previous finals.

Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars have struggled in the current season, losing their matches against Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.
