On the morning of Independence Day (August 15), Team India coach Gautam Gambhir visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, with his family. Gambhir and his family were spotted seeking blessings at the holy place. The moment of Gambhir's visit to the temple is captured and shared widely on social media platforms.

His visit to the temple was ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which is scheduled to start on September 9, 2025. After some horrific outings against Australia and New Zealand, team India, coached by Gautam Gambhir, displayed their resilience during the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy and left England after making the scoreline 2-2.

The men in the Blue Brigade had to travel to England for the 5-match Test series without Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravichandran Ashwin. Sharma's and Kohli's retirements were a massive deal for the team management. With immediate effect, just before the Test series, they assigned Shubman Gill as the skipper, and their plan worked out. Under Gill's leadership and Gambhir's coaching, India played brilliantly under immense pressure.

Another hurdle in front of team India

Now, they have to do another major task to accomplish, which is the Asia Cup. They will enter into the tournament as the defending champion, so there will be obvious pressure on them from the beginning. Like the cricketers, the tournament will also be a must-win for coach Gautam Gambhir as well.

When Gambhir and his family visited Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, people were curious to see the former India cricketer from the front. Gautam Gambhir, along with his wife Natasha Jain and their daughters Aazeen and Anaiza, was spotted seeking blessings at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple. Meanwhile, on the special occasion of India's 79th Independence Day on Friday, Gautam Gambhir wrote in his social media post, "My country, my identity, my life! Jai Hind! #IndependenceDay."
