In a showdown where MI were expected to dominate big time, PBKS surprisingly trumped them in a high-scoring thriller and chased down a tricky target of 185 well inside 19 overs. Whirlwind cameos from Inglis and Arya set the tone for Punjab Kings, and it was the skipper Shreyas Iyer who stayed till the end to apply the finishing touches for his side.

Dejected by the demoralizing defeat, MI skipper Hardik Pandya was caught behaving rather awkwardly when the match got over. During the customary handshake ritual, Iyer was seen having no fuss in shaking hands with the other MI players. From Suryakumar Yadav to Mitch Santner, the players came up to him and shook hands.

But Hardik chose to ignore the PBKS skipper, not just once, but twice. Yes, that's right! In the video below, both Surya and Hardik could be seen approaching Iyer for a handshake almost simultaneously. While Iyer managed to shake hands with SKY, he was not able to do so with Hardik. And if we are to go by the given visuals, it does appear that Hardik might have deliberately chosen to ignore him.

However, Pandya did get a second chance to settle the scores with his opposite number a few moments later. But once again, Hardik ignored him while, on the contrary, the rest of his teammates surrounded Iyer and shook hands with him without any fuss.

These are some of the uneasy visuals you do not wish to see as an ardent cricket fan. Irrespective of how things panned out for MI in the aftermath of that game, the five-time champs have a daunting challenge up against them as they gear up to face GT in the do-or-die Eliminator clash on May 30 at Mullanpur.
