India are playing against New Zealand in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 in Ahmedabad. The Men in Blue are going to defend the trophy and script history in the tournament. In between the overs, Hardik Pandya dropped a sitter of Mitchell Santner.

In the 12th over, Axar Patel bowled a brilliant delivery, and Santner hit straight to the fielder at backward point. However, Pandya dropped the easy catch, giving a lifeline to the Kiwi captain. Later in the 17th over, Bumrah bowled a slower delivery and dismissed Santner. He was batting on 43 off 35 deliveries, including three boundaries and two sixes.

Bumrah claimed four wickets in today's game, starting with dismissing Rachin Ravindra early on. He is also the leading wicket-taker in the T20 World Cup, along with Varun Chakaravarthy. Both players have taken 14 wickets in the tournament.
