Watch: Hassan Khan’s flying catch dismisses Moises Henriques during BBL 2025/26
On the New Year's T20 clash of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2025/26, the Pakistan fielder Hassan Khan was seen to be putting a flying catch to dismiss the Sydney Sixers captain, MOise Henriques, as video goes viral.

Pakistan fielders are not really known for their fielding and catching. However, the New Year’s Big Bash League (BBL) 2025/26 contest between the Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Renegades at the Showdown Stadium in Melbourne gave a proper reflection on how good Pakistani players can field in the outfield as a stunning catch goes viral on social media.
It was the last ball of the 14th over in the second innings when Moises Henriques decided to change his stance and shuffle across on the scoop to play the full ball into the deep squalor region. The ball did not get the same elevation as expected with the fielder, Hassan Khan, sprinting a long way across to his left.
He slides across and goes with both hands before holding on to a screamer to send back the Sydney Sixers captain for 23 runs in 18 balls as he nailed up two sixes and one boundary in his knock. However, it didn’t help the Melbourne Renegades to save themselves from their six-wicket defeat in the New Year’s T20 clash.
