With the high-voltage India vs Pakistan clash scheduled for September 14 in Dubai, a heartwarming moment between three young Indian cricketers has captured fans’ attention. A video circulating on social media showed Shubman Gill and Arshdeep Singh seeking blessings from Abhishek Sharma’s father, Raj Kumar Sharma, following a practice session on Saturday.

In the viral video shared by ANI, Gill can be seen warmly greeting Raj, even touching his feet for blessings ahead of the match. Arshdeep Singh was also there, as the Punjab trio of Gill, Abhishek, and Arshdeep had some time with Raj after practice, clearly a touching action of respect and mateship.

Shubman Gill's gesture, crowned with a hug, tugged at the hearts of fans, who admired the young stars for upholding the tradition of the game even in the wake of the India-Pakistan match. Raj Kumar Sharma, who usually shows up for every replay for his son in IPL stadiums, looked happy during the meeting. The trio also had a light-hearted interchange, giving the audience a rare sight of simmering repose just before the extreme encounter.

Bonding Moments Amid India Camp Concerns

However, along with this emotion, concerns linger for Team India. Reports indicate that Gill has an outside chance of returning to full fitness for Sunday but sustained a minor injury during practice, which doesn't help. Further, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate has said that including Arshdeep Singh in the playing XI was still up in the air for balance consideration.
