IPL 2025 finally restarted. While the RCB vs KKR match was washed out, Sunday afternoon saw a high-scoring battle between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings in Jaipur, where Punjab Kings claimed a crucial 10-run win to lift them to the second place in the IPL 2025 points table. After that match, RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and PBKS left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh recreated the famous dialogue from the Bollywood movie: M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
After Punjab Kings chose to bat first, they scored 219/5 in 20 overs. While Nehal Wadhera scored 70 off 37 balls (five fours and five sixes), Shashank Singh scored 59 not out off 30 balls (five fours and three sixes). Also, captain Shreyas Iyer (30 off 25 balls) and Azmatullah Omarzai (21 not out off 9 balls) added some crucial runs.
In reply, Rajasthan Royals openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a 76-run partnership for the first wicket in just 4.5 overs. While Suryavanshi scored 40 off 15 balls (four fours and four sixes), Jaiswal slammed 50 off 25 balls (nine fours and one six). Although Dhruv Jurel also scored a valuable 53 off 31 balls, Rajasthan Royals were restricted to 209/7 in 20 overs.

Punjab Kings left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, the leading T20I wicket-taker for India and leading IPL 2025 wicket-taker for Punjab Kings, was the most expensive bowler in the match with the bowling figures of 4-0-60-0. In the first over of the second innings, Jaiswal smashed him for 22 runs, including four fours and one six.
After the match, Arshdeep and Jaiswal recreated the famous dialogue from the M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story movie, as Arshdeep said, "Bohot mara be, dagha hi khol diya."
In reply, Jaiswal added, "Ekdum, maine bola tha isko ek din marunga..."
In his next over, Suryavanshi welcomed Arshdeep with a four and ended that over with two sixes.
However, once again, Arshdeep proved himself the boss in the slog overs. In the 19th over, while Rajasthan Royals needed 30 runs in 12 balls, he conceded only eight runs, including only one four. That over was massive for the Punjab Kings to take their revenge from their past IPL 2025 meeting against Royals, where the inaugural IPL champions won by 50 runs.
