The temperature in Ahmedabad has soared to nearly 40 degrees, presenting a major challenge for both Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) players during their face-off at the Narendra Modi Stadium. As part of IPL’s much-hyped "Revenge Week," the blistering heat has taken a toll not only on fitness levels but also on tempers. With dehydration and exhaustion setting in, players have been visibly affected, trying to cope with the intense conditions under the harsh afternoon sun.

The scorching heat may have also played a role in Gujarat Titans’ captain Shubman Gill’s visible frustration on the field. During the match, Gill was seen getting into a heated argument with the on-field umpire over a decision that didn’t go his way. His outburst caught the attention of fans and commentators alike, raising eyebrows about the skipper's temperament. Emotions seemed to be running high under the blazing sun, affecting even the most composed players.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Gill has been involved in an on-field altercation with the umpiring staff. A similar incident occurred during GT’s match against Rajasthan Royals in the 2024 season, where Gill was again seen expressing his discontent aggressively. With this second public disagreement now under the spotlight, questions are beginning to arise over Gill’s reactions under pressure and how the rising temperatures might be amplifying tensions across the board in this IPL season.
