The right-arm pacer of the United States of America (USA), Kyle Klein, has dismissed the right-handed batter, Shayan Jahangir, with a 'John-Cena celebration' during the T20 World Cup 2026 clash between USA and Netherlands.

Even though two associate nations, the United States of America and the Netherlands, met each other during the T20 World Cup 2026 at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the excitement and heat were at their peak. On the fourth delivery of the third over, Kule Klein offered width with a fullish length delivery against Shayan Jahangir as the batter threw his bat to flay it over the extra cover. It came off the bottom of his bat while getting the required elevation to cross the infield for a boundary.

But on the very next delivery, the bowler had his revenge on the batter. It was fuller than being called a length delivery as the batter swung across to the ball that nipped away a shade. But the batter’s feet were cemented on the crease as he ended up missing it completely.

Jahangir was beaten on the outside edge as the ball crashed into the stumps. Klevin gave the batter a John Cena’ aggressive celebration with ‘you can’t see me’ expression. Jahangir walked back for 20 runs in 14 balls with the help of two boundaries and one six.

Meanwhile, their captain, Monark Patel, played a decent knock of 36 runs in 22 balls with the help of three boundaries and one six at a strike rate of 163.64. Their number three batter, Saiteja Mukkamalla, contributed 79 runs in 51 balls at a strike rate of 154.90, scoring five boundaries and four sixes. Their middle-order batter, Shubham Ranjane, added an unbeaten 48 runs in 24 balls with three fours and two sixes.
In the chase of 197 runs, the Netherlands lost their way with six wickets in less than 11 overs. None of their batters could spend time in the middle. Harmeet Singh used the pace of the delivery beautifully, with three wickets in as many overs for an economy rate of only 5.3.
