Watch: 'Look at yourself...'- Tanvir Ahmed gives sharp reply to Harbhajan Singh ahead of IND vs PAK T20 WC 2026

The former Pakistan player, Tanvir Ahmed, has given a sharp reply to the former spinner of the Indian team, Harbhajan Singh, reflecting that the latter told the International League T20 (ILT20) broadcasters that he would ignore of the off-spinner of the Pakistan side, Usman Tariq, calling Harbhajan a two-faced man, just a day ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 clash between India and Pakistan. 

India have been planning a lot about the action of Usman Tariq, who has puzzled the batters with the pause action as the batters have found it tricky to play the big shots against the spinner. Tanvir faced backlash after criticizing Harbhajan in an interview.

“You say you are doing commentary, but then you ask the broadcasters that you will ignore Usman Tariq. Tu dogla aadmi hai (You’re a two-faced person). You tell Indian players not to shake hands with Pakistani players, yet you sit in commentary with Pakistani players.” Tanvir expressed in a video.

Tanvir Ahmed reacts to Harbhajan Singh’s challenge in T20 World Cup 2026

Tanvir, who has played eight games across formats for the national side, has reckoned that Harbhajan should have been clear about not commenting and talking with the Pakistan players and their commentators in the International League (ILT20). Harbhajan is expected to do commentary for the India vs Pakistan game on February 15 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

“If you call yourself an honest man, you should have clearly said that you would not stand with him, talk to him, or shake hands with him. Either don’t do commentary with Pakistani players, or if you choose to do it, then be prepared to hear such criticism.” Ahmed informed in the video.

“You are accusing me of having no manners, but first look at yourself. You have played more cricket than I have; now tell me about your own manners. The words you used for me in your video, I have never spoken like that about you.” Tanvir addressed this in the same video.
