Watch: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to reveal new franchise logo ahead of IPL 2026
The Rishabh Pant-led side of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who finished at the seventh position of the points table in the previous season, will reveal their new logo ahead of the 2026 edition.

With just over a month to go before the potential start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, the Lucknow Super Giants are set to unveil their new logo, marking the fresh start of their family under the leadership of Rishabh Pant. The franchise didn’t have a great time in the previous season of the competition, finishing in seventh position with six victories in 14 group-stage clashes at a net run rate of -0.376.
Lucknow’s opening batter from Australia, Mitchell Marsh, was excellent in the previous season. The right-handed batter has smashed 627 runs in 13 innings at an average of 48.23 and a strike rate of 163.71 with the help of 56 boundaries and 37 sixes. He also got full support from their wicket-keeper batter, Nicholas Pooran, who nailed 524 runs in 14 innings at a strike rate of 196.25.

Ahead of the new season, they released a video where some of the fans have wondered where their current logo has gone. Even in their X and Instagram feeds, there is no logo on the side, which confirms that they will reveal a new logo soon.
LSG to release new franchise logo ahead of IPL 2026
The Super Giants retained nearly all of their players. Along with Pooran and Marsh, they also retained the two overseas players, Aiden Markram and Matthew Breetzke. Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni are two other young batters who have been part of the franchise along with their Indian pacer, Avesh Khan, for a price of INR 9.75 crore.

Mohammad Shami, the right-arm pacer of the Indian side, has been traded in for a price of INR 10 crore from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Arjun Tendulkar, the left-arm pacer, also came into the side for a price of INR 30 lakh.
The franchise brought three new overseas players to the team for the new season. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga joins them for INR 2 crore, along with Anrich Nortje for the same price. Despite missing a massive chunk of the season, Josh Inglis has got INR 8.6 crore.
