[WATCH] Miscommunication leads to Abhishek Sharma's run-out for 75 during IND vs BAN Super 4 Asia Cup 2025 clash
Watch the video where the miscommunication has led to the left-handed Indian opening batter, Abhishek Sharma, getting run-out 75 during the clash between India and Bangladesh during the Super 4 clash of Asia Cup 2025.

Abhishek Sharma, the left-handed opening batter of the Indian side, continued his aggressive batting during the Super 4 clash of the 2025 season of the Asia Cup between India and Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. He celebrated his back-to-back half-centuries during the competition at a brisk rate.
India didn’t make a great start with the bat as they made just 17 runs on the board in three overs. But Shubman Gill drilled a fine boundary and a six to get the momentum back before Abhishek started to club the big shots regularly. Once he celebrated his half-century, he took a new stance and started to smash the big shots.
On the very first ball after the drinks, the Punjab-born picked up the bone out of the pitched-up ball from Saifuddin and smoked it over the long-off region for a towering six. On the first ball of the 12th over, Suryakumar Yadav cut the ball from Mustafizur Rahman to the point region as Abhishek set for the single.

The point fielder, Rishad Hossain, stopped the ball with a dive and threw it to the bowling end. The fielder waited for a moment and fired a flat throw to the bowlers’ end. Mustafizur collected the ball calmly while gathering the throw. The ball was getting out of his hand and broke the stumps to get the batter out for 75 runs, with the help of six fours and five sixes.
Since the wicket of Abhishek, India kept losing wickets one after another. Suryakumar got an outside edge into the gloves on the leg side for five runs. Tilak Verma also went back to the hut for five runs in seven balls as they were reduced to 132/5 in their 15 overs.
Bangladesh started to make a comeback in the clash with wickets as India slowed down terribly in the middle order. They needed to get their innings back on track for the encounter.
