Mohammed Siraj's boundary error gifted Harry Brook a six, leading to a heartfelt apology to Prasidh Krishna and visible frustration from coach Gautam Gambhir.

Mohammed Siraj’s costly mistake on Day 4 left the Indian cricket team absolutely shocked, and emotions were running high on the field as well as in the dressing room at the Oval. During England’s chase, Siraj caught Harry Brook near the boundary but stepped back and touched the cushion, turning what looked like a wicket into a six during a crucial phase of the ongoing fifth and final Test against England.
Prasidh Krishna had already started celebrating, thinking Brook was dismissed, only to be left in shock after Siraj’s misstep. Realizing what he had done, Siraj stood frozen at long leg, covering his face in disbelief. He remained visibly upset and was still holding his face even as Krishna bowled the next delivery. The guilt and disappointment were clearly visible on his face as he processed the moment.
On the other side, in the Indian dressing room, Head coach Gautam Gambhir, who was immensely frustrated, was unable to hide his feelings. Cameras captured Gambhir leaning down, closing his eyes, and covering his face in disbelief. The image of the head coach’s reaction quickly went viral on social media. Later, Mohammed Siraj was also seen along with Prasidh Krishna when he was apologizing to him for the mistake that turned out to be costly for the team and also illustrating that the missed opportunity was the cause of the mistake.
