Watch: Mohammed Siraj's unlucky dismissal vs England in today's ENG vs IND 3rd Test match

It was a dramatic end of the third Test of the five-match series between England and India at Lord’s on the evening session of the fifth day. Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj went to the extended Tea session with hope of getting the required 30 runs for the last wicket. The former also looked in a good touch with his fourth consecutive half-century.
But it was not an end that the Blue Brigade hoped for, especially after the hard work of the five days from all the eleven players. Mohammed Siraj was defending the ball really well under his eyes as it kept frustrating the home players. Ben Stokes decided to bring Shoaib Bashir from one end, with Jofra Archer using his pace from the other.
Jadeja and Siraj put a great stand till a mistake happened from the number 11. Siraj looked to defend the ball from Bashir. As he defended, the ball popped up in the air and hit the deck hard as the seam helped it to spun and hit onto the stumps. It was a dramatic and unlucky dismissal from the Hyderabad-born as the home side earned a victory by 22 runs.

The morning session of the fifth day didn’t go the visitors’ way. They lost Rishabh Pant quite early as the left-handed batter missed the straight ball from Jofra Archer, who hit the right spot with the hard new ball. KL Rahul couldn't read the inswinging nip-backer as it wrapped him on to the pads. The entire hppe of the Blue Brigade and their fans went for a toss. Washington Sundar, who manisfested of a Indian win just after the lunch break, gave a return catch to Archer.
Not the result we wanted, but the fight we’ll never forget 💔

Jadeja and Nitish Reddy got a steady stand before the lunch break. Later, Jasprit Bumrah was good in his defense at the number 10 position. But as most of the tailenders do, he went for a greedy pull shot and found the fielder at the bowling mark. The hope, from the top, hit the bottom, as the entire responsibility fell on Jadeja.
The all-rounder tried but Siraj's dramatic dismissal couldn't help the side getting a win as the home side take a 2-1 lead going into the fourth fixture of the series at the Old Trafford in Manchester.
