MS Dhoni, also popularly referred to as 'Captain Cool,' left fans shocked with a dramatic new appearance in an advertisement before IPL 2025. The ex-Chennai Super Kings skipper was seen in a grungy avatar, with long hair, reminiscent of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's role in the film Animal.
In the advertisement, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Dhoni playfully asks if his long hair is "too much," leading to an epic exchange between him and the filmmaker. The ad has since gone viral, igniting excitement among cricket and movie fans alike.
Dhoni’s Intense Preparation for IPL 2025
Ahead of IPL 2025, Dhoni has been working hard to keep himself in fine shape. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh recently made a claim that Dhoni has been practicing batting for 2-3 hours every day to sharpen his skills.

"I first saw him at a wedding, and he was looking so fit," Harbhajan said in an interview with ESPNcricinfo. "I asked him whether it was challenging to continue at his age. He conceded that it was challenging but added this is what he enjoys doing. His passion to play still exists, and he's proving to everyone how it's done."
