Watch: Phil Salt pulls off one-handed stunning catch to dismiss Ishan Kishan in IPL 2026
Phil Salt takes a stunning catch to dismiss Ishan Kishan in IPL 2026, producing a game-changing moment that left fans and players in awe.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is not always about batters and bowlers; sometimes it's about the fielders who steal the show, just like today. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fielder Phil Salt was everywhere today. He took three catches today and did some pretty good fielding at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
RCB skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first. The opponent openers couldn't put up a good show with the bat as they were dismissed by Jacob Duffy in a single over. He picked up three wickets and had an unforgettable debut for the Royals. His spell was quite productive. However, it was Phil Salt who took the limelight away by taking a one-handed catch to dismiss Ishan Kishan.

Phil Salt takes blinder to dismiss Ishan Kishan
RCB's Phil Salt took some of the best catches in the match today, including the one where he dismissed SRH skipper Ishan Kishan. It was a one-handed blinder near the boundary rope. The left-handed batter was batting on 80 runs when Abhinandan Singh bowled a full toss outside off delivery, and Kishan went to hit it.
However, Salt judged the ball really well near the boundary and ended up completing the catch with one hand. While it looked easy on the big screen, maintaining the balance and keeping an eye on the ball takes another level of hand-eye coordination that the fielder showed today. Kishan went on 80 off 38 balls, including eight boundaries and five sixes.
