It is the 12th encounter of the ongoing 2025 season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) between the East Delhi Riders and the Outer Delhi Warriors at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. East Delhi captain, Anuj Rawat, won the toss and decided to bowl first on a surface which was expected to get better under lights in the second innings. The batting side lost their opener, Sanat Sangwan, on the last ball of the opening over for 10 runs in five balls. However, Priyansh Arya was in a different mood.
