He is a brilliant batsman and can also bowl a bit of left-arm spin.’ Ashwin expressed in a video on his YouTube channel, which has gone viral.

Apart from the red-ball performances, the Barbados-born featured in 12 ODIs to score 317 runs at a strike rate of nearly 90 and 12 T20I innings for 281 runs at a strike rate of around 155 with two half-centuries.
Playing under Rajat Patidar in the IPL 2025, the young campaigner drilled 67 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 171.79 with one half-century at the best score of 55 runs. With the Ashes 2025/26 trip awaiting him this winter, he will look to deliver an incredible performance and secure his ticket to Australia.
