[WATCH] Ravindra Jadeja survives injury scare while appealing during IND vs WI Ahmedabad Test
Watch the left-arm spin all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, survives the injury scare while appealing to the umpire during the opening Test of the two-match series between India and West Indies in Ahmedabad.

Ravindra Jadeja, the premier all-rounder of the Indian side, celebrated a fine unbeaten century during the second day of the opening Test between India and the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. That brought incredible confidence among the southpaw as he used it on the third day with the ball in hand.
India decided to declare their first innings with a lead of 286 runs after three centuries from Jadeja, Dhruv Jurel, and KL Rahul in the batting department. They were able to break the opening partnership of the Caribbean side quite cheaply before captain Shubman Gill brought Jadeja into the attack as they kept close fielders in the middle.
The first ball of the ninth over was smashed for a four by John Campbell over the mid-off region before the following delivery skidded through to miss the outside edge of the southpaw’s bat. The wicket-keeper and Jadeja appealed. However, in this process, the spinner slipped and fell on the ground. For a moment, it felt like he had injured himself after holding his right shoulder and stretching his legs.

However, on the first ball of his next over, Jadeja was successful in getting his man as Campbell couldn’t keep the tossed-up delivery on the floor and got an outside edge into the bat pad as Sai Sudharsan, under the helmet, standing at the FSL position, collected a simple catch to send the batter back.
Brandon King looked to punch the spinning delivery from Jadeja, but he ended up getting an outside edge into the hands of the slip fielder as KL Rahul collected an easy catch. It was a great catch to dismiss the batter for five runs.
Shai Hope was looking to cut the short ball from Jadeja, but the extra bounce of the delivery got over his blade as Yashasvi Jiaswal, standing at the point region, collected a fine catch to send the batter back for one run. Jadeja picked 3/30 in 11 overs, including three maidens in the second innings as India found the visitors for 66/5, trailing by 220 runs.
