[WATCH] Rishabh Pant shares glimpses of his recovery session at BCCI Center of Excellence
Watch the video that the left-handed wicket-keeper batter of the Indian cricket team, Rishabh Pant, has shared glimpses of his recovery session at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru ahead of the possible return.

Injuries are part and parcel of any cricketer, but it seems to be a consistent factor for Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicket-keeper batter, who, having missed more than a year of his career after the fatal car accident, is currently out of the game due to the foot injury that he picked up during the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford in Manchester.
Pant looked to reverse sweep Chris Woakes during the clash as the ball hit him on the bridge of his foot. Before that game, the Indian keeper got hit on the tip of the finger while keeping at Lord’s against the wobbly seam. He has shared a few glimpses of his recovery session at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
“Got me in the corner there, but came out with flying colors. I have always done it under pressure.” Pant expressed his emotions during the video, for which he has used ‘locked in’ as the caption. The southpaw will be eager to make a quick return to the national side.

Rishabh Pant has smashed 3427 runs in 82 innings of the longest format at an average of 44.50 and a strike rate of 74.16 with the help of 18 half-centuries and eight centuries at the best score of unbeaten 159 runs. In England, the left-handed batter has smacked two centuries and two half-centuries during the previous series.
Pant was out of the Asia Cup 2025 trophy, where Sanju Samson featured as the wicket-keeper batter, with Jitesh Sharma getting a chance in the squad. In the Test series at home against the West Indies, Dhurv Jurel has taken the responsibility. He nailed a fine century in the opening game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Pant is expected to make his return to the game for Delhi through the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 for a couple of games. If things go according to plan, then Pant could be back in the squad and possibly into the eleven for the next home Test series against South Africa in November.
