Rohit Sharma has always been a jolly member off the field. Recently, after taking his retirement from the longest format of the game before the five-match Test series in England, he turned up at the Kennington Oval during the fifth and final fixture of the seven-week campaign as he supported the young side under Shubman Gill’s captaincy, taking charge.
A recent video has gone viral where Rohit has been seen to execute the same dance moves from the practice sessions on the floor for his wife, Ritika Sajdesh’s brother’s wedding. The choreographer for the program is showing them all the stances and moves during practice as the Nagpur-born executes the same on the floor during the wedding ceremony.
A few days ago, the former Indian captain was seen driving his new Lamborghini car on the Mumbai roads after it was delivered. It was another addition to his collection of cars after he gifted his last blue Lamborghini to a fan in the fantasy program during the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Rohit Sharma has recently found himself in the news after the reports claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors will have an honest conversation with him and Virat Kohli regarding their future in the 50-over format. Both of them took their retirements from the shortest format after the end of the last T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States of America.
Having already taken retirement from red-ball cricket, questions have been raised on whether they would be able to play the ODI format. India has a three-match ODI series against Australia down under in November, which could prove to be an acid Test for the duo to be in the side.
It has also been reported that the board wants them to feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 to be in rhythm before the 50-over home series against South Africa and New Zealand. Rohit, the 38-year-old, has smashed a total of 11168 runs in 265 ODI innings at an average of 48.76 and a strike rate of 92.80 with 32 centuries and 58 half-centuries at the best score of 264 runs against Sri Lanka.
