Keeping his calm and holding his nerve at the boundary rope, Rovman Powell grabbed a fine catch to dismiss Jamie Overton during the T20 World Cup 2026 clash against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The England vs West Indies encounter of the T20 World Cup 2026at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai was expected to be a blockbuster, and it has turned out to be in that same way. The West Indies had been fabulous with their spin bowling and fielding as Rovman Powell provided them a fine catch at the crucial stage of the game to keep themselves ahead.
It was the final delivery of the 16th over of the innings as Akeal Hossein ran in for his last delivery of the four-over spell. Most of the bowlers would have fired it down and ended it easily. But Akeal was different, as it gave the ball flight and looped it to the right-handed batter, Jamie Overton, who greedily went for the big shot.
Overton came down the track and hit the tossed-up delivery as it went near the boundary rope, where Rovman Powell, holding his never, grabbed the ball and completed the clean catch by putting it back into the field as West Indies got another wicket in their defense.
