The Scotland Cricket Team and their players have arrived in Kolkata ahead of their afternoon clash to open the campign against West Indies on February 07 at the Eden Gardens in the afternoon.

Ahead of their opening clash of the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka in the afternoon against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Scotland arrives in the city amidst the cheer from the crowd. It was a late call-up and preparation for the side after the International Cricket Council (ICC) replaced them with Bangladesh, after the latter decided not to travel to India due to security reasons.
Scotland’s second clash of the event will be in the morning against Italy at the same venue. Their third and exciting contest will be against England at the same venue, which will be an advantage for the side, given they would be quite familiar with the surface and its condition.
