Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and Indian wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal have been enjoying themselves a lot off the field. To keep themselves active, the duo records Instagram reels, which keep their fan base engaged. In a recent reel that has now gone viral, Yuzi and Dhawan were spotted in traditional Indian costumes. Both of them were trying to recreate a funny scene from the Mahabharat movie that had a voice-over in the background.

At the start of the video, Dhawan appeared to be immersed in a deep thought and had his head pointed down. A couple of moments later, Chahal joined him and rested his right arm on his left shoulder. He then asked in Hindi "Bhanje ke lothan, ye mai kya sun raha hu?" (Hey dear, what am I hearing?).

To this query, Dhawan replied by saying "Ye mai kaise bata sakta hu?" (How will I be able to tell you this). Soon after he finished his sentence, a track of a man laughing was heard in the background. It's a track which we are far too familiar with these days, thanks to an abundance of reels that we see each day.

It is very evident that both Yuzi and Dhawan enjoy making reels. While Dhawan finds ample time making such reels as he is no longer involved with the game physically, Yuzi does manage to take some time out of his busy schedule to appear in such catch reels. Chahal's last appearance for the national side came in August 2023 against the West Indies in Lauderhill. He hasn't featured in any format for India since then and was also excluded from the BCCI's annual player contracts.

However, he continues to feature in franchise cricket and has been quite active in the domestic circuit. The 34-year-old was last seen in action during the grand finale of the IPL 2025 for PBKS, in which his team suffered a heartbreaking six-run defeat. Furthermore, the Indian wrist spinner has also undergone a divorce very recently and is trying to come to terms with life after that unfortunate episode.
