Following this, the umpires inspected the ground six times, and at their final inspection at 9:25 PM, they decided to cancel the match due to excessive fog. The final match of the five-match T20 series will now be played on December 19th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The fifth and the final match of the series will decide the fate of the series.
