Watch: Shubman Gill annoyed as police person advised him to play better

A surprising moment for Shubman Gill and for some Indian cricket fans as well. A video shows that a police person in Lucknow told Gill about his recent form. 

Team India and Team South Africa were at the Ekana Cricket Stadium for the 4th T20I of the ongoing 5-match series. The match was eventually cancelled due to heavy fog. The air quality in Lucknow was also extremely poor. After multiple inspections, umpires decided to cancel the match. 

But the incident we are talking about was before the match. According to the information claimed in the video, Shubman Gill was walking by the side of the main ground. Naturally, police personnel were there for protection. Suddenly, as it is said in the video, a police person said to Gill that he did not enjoy his batting in the last few matches. So, the police person requested the cricketer to improve his batting.

Which might have annoyed Shubman Gill, who is the captain of Team India's Test and vice captain of the team's T20I setup. The person who captured the moment also criticized the act of the security person. Players and all the cricket fraternity expect professionalism from the security personnel. If the claimed act in the video is believed to be true, then the act was truly far from professionalism.

Unfortunately, the match in Lucknow was cancelled because of heavy fog. The match was scheduled to start at 7:00 PM IST at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, but the visibility was reduced heavily because of heavy fog on the field. Following this, the umpires inspected the ground six times, and at their final inspection at 9:25 PM, they decided to cancel the match due to excessive fog. The final match of the five-match T20 series will now be played on December 19th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The fifth and the final match of the series will decide the fate of the series.
