Team India fast bowler Prasidh Krishna showed his fiery bowling in the 2025–26 Ranji Trophy match between Punjab and Karnataka on Sunday, February 1. The pacer dismissed Emanjot Singh Chahal with a brilliant delivery on the fourth and final day of the match.

The wicket came in the 80th over of Punjab’s innings. Krishna bowled a full-length ball, and the batter failed to bring his bat down in time. As a result, the off stump and middle stump were knocked over.

Sharing the video on X, the BCCI wrote: “Sound of timber. Prasidh Krishna produces a beauty again to dismiss Emanjot Chahal.”

Prasidh Krishna finished with figures of 3/49 as Karnataka bowled out Punjab for 256 in their second innings. This was his fourth wicket in the match. The 29-year-old has been in good form in recent months.

With no ODI or Test matches coming soon, Krishna will next play for Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2026. The Ahmedabad-based team retained him for INR 9.5 crore last year. He took 25 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 8.27 last season.
