Abhishek Sharma Doubtful for Namibia Match

After a 28-run win over the USA in their T20 World Cup 2026 opener, the India cricket squad 2026 will face Namibia at Arun Jaitley Stadium on February 12. The team had only 13 players available in the first game. Harshit Rana was injured and replaced by Mohammed Siraj, while Jasprit Bumrah's injury news and Washington Sundar’s absence due to illness affected the lineup.

Even opener Abhishek Sharma's fitness update remains a concern, as he got sick during the match. Sundar has returned and will bowl, but Sharma is still unwell, and Bumrah has not bowled yet, according to assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate India coach.
