Even during the Super 4 clash between India and Bangladesh from the 2025 season of the Asia Cup, which continued at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the mocking fire continued to take place against Pakistan. In the last over of the second innings, Suryakumar Yadav made a hilarious move to ridicule the Salman Ali Agha-led side, as the video has gone viral on social media platforms.

Having already smelled the victory against the Jaker Ali-led side in Dubai, Suryakumar Yadav decided to throw the ball at Tilak Verma, who came as a part-timer. That was the time when Sky acted to bring the scissor out of his pocket and cut from the middle. Many have reckoned that the Mumbai-born has used it to show how Bangladesh was cut from Pakistan in 1971.

Through the Liberation War, triggered by East Pakistan’s autonomy demands, the Bengali-dominated Awami League won the election battle, forcing India to intervene militarily, including the Operation Searchlight. When the war concluded with the defeat of the Pakistani army, they surrendered, and that created the independent nation of Bangladesh.

Winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bowl first on a surface they anticipated would get better for batting in the second innings. Litton Das was ruled out of the fixture due to an injury that he picked up during the practice session, while they also made three more changes in the squad.

Abhishek Sharma smashed 75 runs in 37 balls, with the help of six boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 202.70, while Hardik Pandya clubbed 38 runs in 29 deliveries to help the Indian side post 168/6 in their allotted 20 overs of the first inning. Shubman Gill also cracked 29 runs in 19 balls with two fours and one six.

In reply, only Saif Hasan and Parvez Emon got into double figures. The former smashed 69 runs in 51 runs at a strike rate of 135.29, smashing three boundaries and five sixes. Apart from this, no one could stand in the middle as they were bundled out for 127 runs and gifted India a 41-run win.
