Watch: Tom Latham's Wicket Falls to Ravindra Jadeja in Champions Trophy Clash

Latham, know for his solid technique against spin, found himself trapped as Jadeja delivered as well-flighted delivery that pitched in the line and straightened towards the stump. In an attempt to play across the line, Latham completely misjudged the trajectory of that delivery and was struck on the pads. The umpire immediately raised his finger, giving him out LBW.

Latham reviewed the decision, but DRS confirmed both that the point of impact was in line and that the ball was going on to hit the stump, so the DRS appeal was unsuccessful.

His fourth breakthrough in the match gives much credit to Jadeja's performance for putting pressure on New Zealand. Due to his tight bowling, sharp turn, the Kiwi batters are allowed no comfort in building partnerships.

New Zealand, at 108/4, had reached a tricky situation where they needed a solid recovery to stay in the match. With India spinners taking the toll in control, that leaves an uphill task for the middle order against the dominance of spin in play.

Jadeja's great session of bowling that included the key wicket of Tom Latham has put India ahead in this very important Champions Trophy clash. With the spin strangle now very much in action, fans are waiting eagerly to see if New Zealand can fight back or if India will continue with their dominance.
