Travis Head, the Aussie cricket star we all know for smashing centuries, is now stealing the show in a hilarious new ad for Uber Moto in India! Yep, you heard that right—our man Travis has gone from hitting sixes to playing a cheeky character called the ‘Hyderabaddie,’ and it’s honestly so much fun to watch. This ad, set in the lively streets of Hyderabad, is all about Uber Moto’s bike taxi service, which gets you a ride in under three minutes—perfect for zooming through traffic.

In the ad, Travis teams up with a bunch of ‘Hyderabaddies’ to pull off some playful pranks on rival city teams, then makes a quick escape on an Uber Moto bike. There’s this one scene where he’s standing in a crisp white shirt, striking a dramatic pose through a round window—it’s straight out of a Bollywood movie, kind of like that classic Ishq vibe from the ‘90s! Travis even throws in a funny line about the fares starting at just ₹25, saying, “Dhakka laga na?” which basically means “Did that hit you hard?” I couldn’t help but laugh—it’s so him!

Uber India, along with FCB India, came up with this gem, playing on Travis’s love-hate vibe with Indian fans.
We admire his game, but oof, those ICC losses still sting! “Travis has a ‘special’ relationship with Indians,” shared Mayuresh Dubhashi from FCB India, “and we wanted to tap into that for a fresh, fun campaign.” Uber’s marketing head, Ameya Velankar, added, “Uber Moto is all about quick rides for everyone, and Travis brings that to life in such a cool way.”

At 31, with a net worth of ₹24 crores as of last year, Travis is killing it both on and off the field. This ad just proves he’s got the charm to win hearts in India, one ride at a time!
