India's one of the best all-format cricketers and the former skipper, Virat Kohli, was spotted at the Mumbai airport on February 12 ahead of the team's clash against Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. The world is aware of Kohli's performance and how he has influenced Indian cricket throughout his career.

The 37-year-old player is renowned worldwide for his game knowledge as well as the level of fitness he maintains, even at this age. After dedicating more than a decade to Indian cricket, he announced his T20I retirement in 2024 and Test retirement in 2025. Now, Kohli plays in the ODIs and is eyeing the ODI World Cup 2027.

He looked quite ecstatic and in a great mood as he landed in Mumbai. He was seen taking pictures with his fans at the airport. On his arrival, fans have suspected his presence in the game against Namibia, but there is no official confirmation regarding the same.

Kohli also spoke to the people present around and said, "Haan bhai, kaun kaun hai photo wala? (Yes, who all wants to get a photo?)." He asked the fans to maintain the protocol while clicking pictures with them.

Virat Kohli is likely to play in ODI World Cup 2027

India's star batter Virat Kohli is in incredible form, slamming half-centuries and centuries in the previous series. The 2025 season started with the Australia tour, where Kohli was out on a duck in the first two matches. After that, he has scored 74*, 135, 102, 65*, 131, 77, 93, 23, and 124.

The right-handed batter helped India win against Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand. While the middle order struggled to collect runs, Kohli stood there as a lone warrior, performing for the team. With the kind of form he is in, it's safe to assume that he will be playing in the ODI World Cup 2027.

Along with Kohli, Rohit Sharma is also in terrific form, eyeing to stick around till the World Cup. Meanwhile, Kohli is also just 15 centuries away from completing 100 centuries in international cricket. He is likely to break Sachin Tendulkar's record if he sticks around for a little longer.
