West Indies (WI) and Nepal (NEP) are set to continue their three-match T20I series with the second match on Monday, September 29, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Leading 1-0 in the series due to their historic 19-run victory in the first T20I, Nepal will enter the match with plenty of confidence. Batting first, Nepal lost a couple early wickets, but captain Rohit Paudel (38 off 35) and Kushal Malla (30 off 21) put together an important partnership of 58 runs. Contributions from Gulsan Jha and Dipendra Singh Airee helped Nepal reach a total of 148/8.

In attempting to chase 149, the West Indies struggled for much of the innings, despite some fight. Kyle Mayers fell early, and Nepal's disciplined bowling attack kept taking wickets at key moments throughout the innings. Kushal Bhurtel (2/17), Lalit Rajbanshi (1/6), and captain Paudel himself added to the pressure with the ball. Navin Bidaisee made an impressive debut, scoring 22 after taking 3/29. The lower-order batsmen Fabian Allen (19) and Akeal Hosein (18) were unable to score at a sufficient run-rate, as West Indies managed only 129/9, allowing Nepal to celebrate a historic and memorable victory.
