Rinku Singh's journey from UP to Team India via Kolkata Knight Riders is no less than a fairytale for many young cricket aspirants. Rinku stood tall alone on multiple occasions to save KKR and played significant knocks for Team India as well; now he is struggling to get in rhythm. Kolkata Knight Riders batting line-up completely collapsed today (March 31) against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.

The situation was not new for Rinku Singh; under pressure, he delivered the best in multiple matches for the Purple Brigade, but today was not his day. Singh went back to the dressing after scoring only 17 runs. It's been a long time since Rinku has lacked his destructive form. Against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22, he scored only 12 runs.

Rinku claimed his last half-century on December 26, 2024, against Tamil Nadu, where we put a 55-run innings aside his name. Rinku's second significant innings was on December 31, against Chandigarh; in this match, we made an unbeaten 36-run innings. For Team India, against England on January 31, 2025, Rinku managed to get 30 runs.

Rinku Singh's last few matches score sheet:

KKR vs MI: 17 runs

KKR vs RCB: 12 runs

India vs. England: 9 runs

India vs. England: 30 runs

UP vs Vidharbha: 6 runs

UP vs Chandigarh: 36*

UP vs Chhattisgarh: 1 run
