Who is new RCB Chairman Aryaman Birla?
Aryaman Birla is set to serve as the new Chairman of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), while Aditya Birla Group, The Times of India Group, Bolt Ventures, and Blackstone jointly become new owner of the franchise.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have got the new owners just before the beginning of the IPL 2026, where the franchise will defend their first title. Aryaman Birla is the new chairman of the RCB.
On Tuesday (March 24), the RCB have reportedly been sold for USD 1.78 billion, close to INR 16,700 crore. The new ownership consortium has been set by Aditya Birla Group (ABG), The Times of India Group (ToI), Bolt Ventures (Bolt), and Blackstone's perpetual private equity strategy (BXPE, Blackstone).
According to the Cricbuzz report, Aryaman Vikram Birla will serve as the Chairman of RCB. Aryaman, son of Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, is the director at the Aditya Birla Group.

Aryaman Birla was Ranji Trophy player
The 28-year-old Aryaman Birla played Ranji Trophy cricket as he was a professional cricketer. He made his domestic cricket debut in November 2017, as the opening batter played nine first-class matches and four List A games for Madhya Pradesh.
In first-class cricket, Aryaman recorded one century and one half-century, as the left-handed batter scored 414 runs in 16 innings.
After playing his last domestic match in January 2019, Aryaman left the game for an undefined time, citing anxiety-related issues.
Aryaman Birla served for Rajasthan Royals as player
In the IPL 2018, Aryaman Birla served for the Rajasthan Royals. He was picked by the franchise during the auction, where the left-handed opening batter had the base price of INR 20 lakhs, and he was picked with the successful bid of INR 30 lakh.
There was a short bidding war for Aryaman between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings), while the inaugural IPL champions won the bid.
However, Aryaman didn't make his IPL debut that season. Although he was retained by the franchise for the 2019 season, he had no fortune change for the tournament. While the franchise finally released him ahead of the 2020 auction, he took an undefined sabbatical from the game in December 2019.
