The former Indian captain and the batting superstar Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar has gotten engaged to Saaniya Chandok. The marriage engagement was arranged privately, with only close friends and family members allowed to attend the program, as the reports have claimed.
Many are unaware of Saaniya Chandok, who is the granddaughter of well-known Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. He is the chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd, the company that has worked on several major ventures in the hospitality and food industry, along with the luxury InterContinental Hotel on Marine Drive and the popular ice cream brand, The Brooklyn Creamery.

The Ghai family has a significant position in the ecosystem of the Mumbai business. Ravi Ghai is the son of the visionary, Iqbal Krishan “IK” Ghai, who founded the iconic Kwality Ice cream brand and the InterContinental hotel on Marine Drive. He built on the legacy of his father as Ravi extended the family business both in and around the country, especially in the Middle East. The group built on the production and grew its footprint significantly.

In the updated reports, it has been revealed that Graviss Hospitality continues to manage the premium operations, such as the InterContinental hotel on the Marin Drive and the new-age ventures like The Brooklyn Creamery, a healthy ice-cream brand, which was founded by Ravi Ghai’s grandson, Shivaan Ghai.
On the flip side of the coin, the 25-year-old Arjun Tendulkar has picked up 37 wickets in the 18 innings of the FC cricket at an average of 33.51, while he has collected 25 wickets in 18 innings of the List A games at an average of 31.32. The southpaw has also smashed 532 runs in 23 innings of first-class cricket at an average of 23.13 and grabbed 102 runs in 10 List A innings at an average of 17.
Arjun started his career in Mumbai before shifting his base to Goa. He played in five innings of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Mumbai Indians (MI) to bag three wickets at an average of 38 and an economy rate of 9.36. His last competitive game was against Manipur in Jaipur last year.
