The former Indian captain and the batting superstar Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar has gotten engaged to Saaniya Chandok. The marriage engagement was arranged privately, with only close friends and family members allowed to attend the program, as the reports have claimed.

Many are unaware of Saaniya Chandok, who is the granddaughter of well-known Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. He is the chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd, the company that has worked on several major ventures in the hospitality and food industry, along with the luxury InterContinental Hotel on Marine Drive and the popular ice cream brand, The Brooklyn Creamery.

The Ghai family has a significant position in the ecosystem of the Mumbai business. Ravi Ghai is the son of the visionary, Iqbal Krishan “IK” Ghai, who founded the iconic Kwality Ice cream brand and the InterContinental hotel on Marine Drive. He built on the legacy of his father as Ravi extended the family business both in and around the country, especially in the Middle East. The group built on the production and grew its footprint significantly.
